LÉALA, the Los Angeles Spanish-language book fair, is an initiative backed by the University of Guadalajara at Los Angeles and the Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL). Since 2011, this event seeks to encourage reading, promote Spanish-language books and foster recognition of the Latino population, their culture and customs.
LÉALA's third edition will be held on May 17-19, 2013 at the West Exhibit Hall, Hall "A" in Los Angeles Convention Center. This free three-day event is a unique occasion to engage with Hispanic consumers.
The numbers are astonishing: in 2012, 67.000 Hispanic consumers attended LÉALA, an amount practically doubled from 2011, when 36.000 people visited the Fair. For 2013, we are expecting over 100.000 visitors.
This means your brand will be associated with promoting Latino culture and reading—improving the lives of the community your service; your brand can benefit from our TV and radio campaign that garnered 13.7M impressions in 2012, as well as 20.3M impressions in outdoor signage, not to mention the LÉALA mobile which along with our street team is present at 28 events in southern California promoting LÉALA and your brand.
Other benefits you can attain when becoming a sponsor of LÉALA are:
-The opportunity to present your brand in front of a distinctive Hispanic audience.
-Specialty areas allow you to target specific audiences and provide an exclusive experience with your brand.
- Your logo can be on the shopping bags provided to Attendees as they purchase books.
-6 rest areas where attendees can lounge and interact with your brand.
-20 vans are used during the fair to transport almost 200 authors throughout LA.
-Your logo on the t-shirts worn by 90 staff members working at the convention center, host hotels, and the airport.
This is a unique proposition, have your brand be discovered in unexpected places—between the pages of a book! Have any other unique ideas for your brand? Let's talk!
